Dowling College is located in Oakdale, Long Island, only a few minutes from the ocean beaches and a short train ride from Manhattan. Dowling offers a small campus environment where you will easily get to know your fellow students and teachers. There are more than 29 clubs and organization which you can engage in, and there are great sporting facilities for athletes.

Class sizes are small (average 15 students) and you will find that the faculty members are very dedicated to teaching. Dowling offer good internship opportunities as a part of you degree and it is possible to find work on campus. Dowling can provide good on-campus accommodation. KILROY students will be offered a one-time USD 500 scholarship.

If you are interested in college sports, Dowling offers scholarships for athletes. Dowling's championship program is in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II, and East Coast Conference: Men's and Women's: Basketball, Cross Country, Lacrosse, Rowing, Soccer, and Tennis. Men's: Baseball, Golf. Women's: Volleyball, Softball. Club Sports: Bowling, Cheerleading, Equestrian, Rowing.

Dowling College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education which is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

Main areas of study

The most popular programs at Dowling are business and psychology. They also offer majors within English, humanities, biology, political science, natural science, sport management, communication arts, anthropology, social sciences and many more. They also offer an excellent program in aviation management with pilot training.

Dowling College also offers and MBA with specializations within aviation, management and leadership, banking and finance, health care management, corporate finance and public management.
