Student life at Boston University

Boston University Metropolitan College is located on Charles River in the heart of Boston, the Fenway-Kenmore area.

Facilities

The Metropolitan College International Partnership (MET International) program has orientation week for international students and a housing office to help you find a place to stay. As a student at MET international, Boston University's Metropolitan College, you have access to all facilities available at Boston University: Library, computer labs, sports, study halls, etc.

Transportation

Approximately 1/3 of Boston's population use public transport: metro, buses and ferries.

Housing

There are many different housing possibilities and BU has a housing office to help you. Student housing is available in everything from the old brick buildings to modern skyscrapers. We recommend that you stay at the university's student housing, but it is also possible to find flat shares on the private housing market.

Please note that the housing office does not provide student housing for graduate students, so if you are taking a graduate diploma you need to rent privately.
