Emirates Academy
The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management is a specialized university, with business management degree programmes that have a hospitality focus.
The three year Bachelor degree with Honours is the highest level of undergraduate qualification any student can obtain. An Honours degree enables you to pre-qualify for entry into a range of postgraduate Masters degrees too. Graduates from this programme are expected to rapidly climb through the management structure of a hotel or other hospitality related companies to be the leading senior professionals of the future.

Transferring to the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in International Hospitality Management
The Academy welcomes students who wish to transfer their studies
to them. The Academy recognises credits earned at other accredited
universities and applications for transfer are possible.
However, the maximum credits given can only be 50% which equates to
63 credits (out of the possible 126 credits).
To determine the number of credits that can be transferred, you
must include with your Application detailed learning outcomes and
syllabus of the courses from your current university.
When you have submitted a complete application with the detailed course syllabus for the all the respective courses and the course mapping has been completed, we will be able to confirm the year of entry and the number of credits still remaining.
The Associate of Science degree is a one and a half year programme consisting of the first five trimesters of the Bachelor of Science degree. This programme provides you with a foundation of essential skills required for a supervisory position in the hospitality industry. You will receive a thorough introduction to food production, restaurant operations, front office and rooms division operations as well as basic and introductory business and management subjects.
Graduates can utilise this programme as a fast track into a career in the hospitality industry or may opt to continue their studies to the full degree programme at The Academy. The internship may be deferred until you leave the Academy and by using the The Academy's partners you can initially get an internship that springboards you into a real job at the end.
The entry requirements and application process for the Associate of Science degree is the same as the Bachelor of Science (Hons.) programme.
The Study Abroad programme offers unique opportunities for students to study and/or to gain industry experience as part of their home country degree programme.
There is also an optional internship component which can be completed before or after the courses. This is the first fully accredited Master of Science in International Hospitality Management degree within the region and it is recognized globally by leading universities and the wider hospitality industry. The content and structure of this programme is based on extensive research to ensure that it provides cutting edge knowledge that builds on undergraduate studies. Over 60 senior executives world-wide have contributed to the design and content of the degree and it is benchmarked against 15 other internationally renowned Masters-level programmes.
Programme Structure
The MSc programme adopts a modular mode and it can be completed full time over 1 year. Each module's duration is one month and involves about 40 contact hours and another 100 hours of self-directed study. There are a total of 9 modules to be completed plus a formal academic thesis.
