The climate in Dubai is subtropical; this means that the weather in Dubai is hot and sunny most days of the year. During winter the average daily temperature is 25°C. Closer to the coast it is 12-15°C, in the desert or the mountains 5°C and at night it becomes relatively cold. In summer the weather in Dubai is very hot and humid and temperatures can reach more than 40°C. Even ocean temperatures can reach 37°C and air humidity is over 90%.
