Student life at Emirates Academy

Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management is located only a few hundred meters from the beach and Burj Al Arab. You also have easy access to the commercial areas of Dubai, and all the new tourist and leisure activities in this vibrant city. By car it takes approx. 25 minutes from campus to Dubai International Airport.

The Campus consists of two main buildings. Most practical lessons take place in one building, while most theoretical teaching takes place in the other. There is a swimming pool at the center of campus. The café next to the pool works as a natural meeting place for students.

Dining facilities

The Academy has a range of dining facilities that can be catered to the individual needs of students.  From the Buffet Restaurant to the Pool Bar and RemO Café (operated by mOre Café), there is a wide range of dining options that students can choose from all day long.

Campus facilities

A clubhouse and comprehensive sports and leisure facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, basketball and tennis courts, are available on campus. In addition, public beaches are within walking distance of the campus. The numerous sporting clubs and associations in Dubai offer students an opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities off campus too. This includes the sports and leisure centre at the nearby Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Madinat Jumeirah, where students receive discounted rates on sports classes. 

Student sports committees in Dubai organize regular events that include tennis, golf, bowling, volleyball, soccer and cricket.  The Student Council organizes events and activities both on and off campus on a regular basis.

Student Accommodation

Studios

Each studio is 21m² (3m x 7m) of living space. There are two blocks; Block E is for females and Block F is for males. The studios are intended for single occupancy only, however there a few double occupancy studios.

Gym

The fully equipped gym is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is located opposite the Club House by the pool.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is a great place to cool off in the Dubai heat and relax with friends, but please make sure you only use it when the lifeguard is on duty, which is from approximately 10:00am - 9:00pm every day.

RemO Café

REMO is operated by More Café and is located on the first floor in the Academy Phase 2 building opposite the Registrar's office.  They serve foods such as gourmet sandwiches, salads, muffins, cakes, fresh juices, tea and coffee.
