Life in Sydney

Sydney is one of the world's most multicultural cities and is home to people from over 200 countries. So, this is the place to meet different cultures, languages and perspectives. You will also find the different cultures represented in restaurants, cafes and food markets. Here you can sample cuisine from all corners of the world.

Sydney is close to no less than 35 beaches. Among the most popular is Manly to the north and Bondi to the east. It takes about 45 minutes by bus from the central station to Bondi and about 20 minutes by boat from the port to Manly. Up the east coast the beaches are like pearls on a string and here you also find the site of the popular television series Home and Away. If you like beach life, you have a lot to choose from.

Apart from beaches, Sydney has a number of parks, galleries and festivals. In Sydney there are endless shopping opportunities, from high-end brands such as Gucci and Prada to the various curiosities found in the many markets scattered throughout the city. It is also Australia's main destination for international students and the center of the country's economy. It houses the main offices of approx. 500 global companies.

Sydney is made up of many different neighborhoods with their own charms and attractions. This is an excellent place to study for those who want to combine city and beach life. Sydney has a lot to offer most people.

Climate

The climate in Sydney is temperate with warm summers and mild winters. The warmest month of the year is January with an average temperature of 18-25°C. The winter is mild and slightly cool. The coldest month is June with temperatures on an average of 8-16°C.
