Student life at Macquarie University

Facilities

Macquarie University has 4 faculties: Arts, Human Sciences, Business and Economics, and Science.

On campus you can find a large sports centre, a pool, several cafés, a library, banking, a health centre.

Transport

The Macquarie University campus is accessible by bus and train from the city centre and the surrounding areas. Sydney's public transport system makes it easy to get around by bus, trains and ferries.

Housing

Macquarie International has several long-term housing options available to international students. You can also choose to arrange accommodation by yourself.

An option is to use Macquarie's temporary housing offers if your accommodation is not available when you arrive. We recommend that you book the first five nights, which will give you a little time to find accommodation together with someone if you want to live outside campus. There are several apartments or townhouses that are rented out to students located within 10-30 minutes from campus.
