Campus of Curtin University

With more than 815 courses to choose from and over 40,000 students Curtin University is the largest university in Western Australia. Curtin appreciates cultural diversity and has more than 8,200 international students from more than 105 countries from all over the world. Their main campus at Bentley is located on an 11 km wide area covered with beautiful parks and gardens just 6 km outside the city center.

Facilities at Curtin University

Curtin invests lot in its extensive academic and recreational facilities that include excellent film and television studios, a motion-analysis laboratory built for physical therapy students and even an art gallery of world class.

Housing

Curtin University offers almost 1,200 rooms on campus. If you decide to live on campus it should be because of a wish to participate in campus life rather than a wish for comfort.

Many students get friends from all over the world, which they continue to have throughout life. Approximate 75% of students living on campus will be international. Half of them are from Asia and the rest from any other country somewhere in the world.

Most of the European students prefer to find private accommodation together with other students.

Transportation

Curtin has its own bus station which is connected with the Transperth Public Transport Network. Many of the routes begin or end at this station. With connection to the Mandurah Rail Line, it has also become much easier to travel to Curtin. Students can travel to Canning Bridge Station and from there take a bus which goes directly to the university.
