CIEE bases the match between a company and an intern on the intern's CV, experience and other wishes. CIEE will do their best to arrange an interview with a relevant company within the hospitality industry. You can even conduct an interview on Skype from your home country. In this way you will have the same chance as local internship applicant to get the position you are applying for.
In order to exploit this opportunity you have to meet all the requirements for a J1-visa. You also have to be a student within the field of hospitality and be available for a placement of 6-12 months.
